As above, any pointers on the best way to send something like an LC engine and decent, reliable (inexpensive!) courier to use .

Will Parcel Farce insure it against damage though Norbo ? Their terms and conditions state no engine parts or automotive parts A lot of courier companies state the same. Dusty

I had to get a car gearbox collected and delivered to me.
Ended up using a pallet shipping courier.
Conditions stated it had to be drained of fluids
Screw a couple of blocks to the pallet and tie the engine on
I'll try and find who I used

What about a forum member relay ? A land Rover forum I was on a few years ago used this method quite often for moving parts around the country.
