When i decoked my pipes i noticed i had one of each as in the photos above , so i used a pattern fibre gasket to fill the gap with the pipe that had the deep flange then just used the genuine Yamaha copper crush gasket on both sides and along with a bit of silicone gasket sealer and everything sealed perfectly.
