So on inspection my drain screws are not up to scratch are these avail still ? More importantly my spring lengths are identical coming in at 515mm or 20.5 ins The workshop manual states 484.60 mm or 19.08 ins I was expecting springs near the replace ceiling 477mm or 18.8 ins No oil was present in one leg , with very minimal in the other with milky water ingress Don’t think I’ll be putting these springs back in

Screw and washer available. items 19 & 20 HEREmk1 lc springs are 484mm mk2/3 Springs length should be 515.4mm. Service limit is 510mm. Oil capacity per leg 238cc oil level per leg 149mm (fully compressed no spring fitted)

Thanks m8👍 Yea , I own a original Haynes manual with the RD on front cover it only covers Mk1,, so I recently bought a copy with the DT on cover wich is supposed to include all years / to my astonishment it is the exact book with pictures except for a few power valve pics , same fork spring and set up specs no mention at all of the diff lengths So they are spot on then , thanks again mellow Regards mic

MK2/3 INFO is in back section of book. Now all we need to sort is to get you to post the right code for your flickr pics so they show in the post without me editing

Click on the photo you want to share. Then click the share arrow then this box opens Then click the BBCode tab at the top Then LEFT Click the code shown, Then right click to copy Then paste the code into your post here hey presto job done

I’m using iPhone m8 When I press on my options bar I do click on the right arrow Then my options are simply copy url I press it then all that happens is I paste to the thread I’ve done this on other forums & pictures come straight through. On here however it only seems to highlight the picture code Sorry for the inconvenience
