Hi everyone , took me a long time to get my bikes to where they are , been a few years so I thought I would bring them out of storage , seems everyone is into them now , is it the time to sell ? ? I wonder 1968 girly Mk1 finished in flamboyant green or as we say ( wizard of oz ) I got the frame & hub from a barn in Ohio , it had been sitting 30 years just waiting for me . A lot of work & time later , it does have a seat , just don't have it on / ultra rare bike flic.kr/p/PyaT2Rnext is a 1969 MK1 done in subaru 02C ( not for the purists ) as it's not a OM colour, but it is a lovellly bike , & the white just makes the paint "pop" flic.kr/p/PyaQ4Xlast is my ultraviolet ( very special MK 2. This is a first month release bike , my favourite flic.kr/p/2axKhdUHope you like . Feedback welcome regards mic

My Grandfather past away in 1970 and left my Brother & I Β£50 each. On my 12th Birthday I was allowed to invest Β£24 of it with Pat Rohan Cycles in Rayners Lane on a yellow one of those. Unlike many other bikes I've owned I've never had any desire to own another one though, whatever flick yer switch

Superb and pure nostalga too. I would hang on to all of them for a while yet and wouldn't worry about demand, these will always be desirable to the collectors Thanks for sharing

Oh wow...thank you for sharing!
Memories!
Never got a chopper........rode one once.....think landing on the gear lever caused PTSD.
My era was the Boxer/Grifter......thanks for that thread Matt!

I love my Chopper, its not the time to sell them, its the time to ride them..! the Chopper and Grifter meets are great fun and dare I say it, more of a laugh than many motorbike meets I get too, many folk are interested in our LCs but EVERYONE stops you when you ride a Chopper! That said, last trip out was rather hilly and 14 miles was enough for my ass to cry enough.. NOS Chopper items in proportion to what the bikes cost, equal anything in the LC world...

I got a yellow one for my 8th? 9th? birthday. Went to the local swimming pool after owning it for a day, locked it up, came back out...no bike.

Very nice indeed mate, unfortunately one of the big personality's in the Chopper world passed away just before Christmas and last week a few of us attended his funeral on our bikes, was a sad occasion but brightened and I think some humour added by his daughter joining us on his bike to lead the procession in. Summed the man up perfectly. We was of course there to show our respects and support his family and not as a show but for you, a couple of shots of THE one millionth Chopper, which is usually on display at Brooklands motor museum.
When my time is up, id like my final day to be on similar lines...
