I read that it was touch and go for the weather, it’s normally pretty good in my experience. Have a great time, see Deano is doing the business again. Hopefully no disqualifications.

Interesting article. 135 mph on a 500cc motorcycle must have been mind-blowingly fast all those years ago.

Interesting article. 135 mph on a 500cc motorcycle must have been mind-blowingly fast all those years ago. Hi Tony, Yes, interesting article indeed, this bit caught my eye..... A Zoller sliding vane supercharger is bolted to the front of the DOHC engine, driven directly by the crankshaft, and is lubricated by castor oil added to the fuel.[1][2][7] It provided c. 15 psi (100 kPa).[1]

Hi Veg, Not sure exactly how his treatment is going or anything, but my first thought, when I saw the pic, was, it will obviousely take more than cancer to keep someone like Bruce Anstey away from the TT ! Dont know if I should have thought that or not? but I did. I, like lots, have seen close up what happens with cancer...... and thats all I have to say about that. I read lots of reports of tears in eyes, and well wishes.
I dont know him and have never met him, but Iv read lots about him, and have never heard of anyone have a bad word to say about him. As far as Im aware, he is still the fastest man ever, round the mountain course on a 2 stroke ? I had a quick google there, but couldnt find a recent update. I just fail to comprehend, how the aeroplane that he came to the IOM on, managed to get off the ground with his huge bocklids on board ! Steven.

Hi, Nice video of the YZR, great to watch with the volume up loud. It seems they are having a few weather issues on the Isle of Man this week ! I read somewhere earlier, that you have to go back to 1987 to find a worse week for weather ! I also read that Guy Martins father is in the Parade Lap on Monday. Weather looks a little better for tommorow... we will see. Steven.

... slight change of subject for a moment. I was following this last week about the "Bluebird." They were testing it on Loch Fad, which is not too far from me in Scotland. There is a programme on Sky News about it this weekend. Steven. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluebird_K7

You concentrate on the 34 degrees and your G&T. Fast women never did any of us any good. Enjoy your holiday. But know what you mean! what about Jenny Tinmouth?

Very impressive, and I can only admire the skill and how the riders learn and remember the course. 350 flat out most of the way!
