Just to bump it up to the top Steve Might be worthwhile for an Admin to pin this thread to the top?

I've registered 70 or so bikes through the Nova system in the last 15 years and then registered them with DVLA to get a V5. I've registered 11 over the last 3 years, it is relatively simple if you follow the correct steps as outlined in the first post. I've mainly registered bikes from European countries but also 6 from America.
What I would add, which is advice I was given by an inspector who I had to arrange to visit to confirm it was the bike I was claiming it was, is to also add photographs taken and printed out on A4 paper.
This can save you a lot of headaches and having an inspection before they issue a V5.
MOT the bike on its VIN No. then once ready to send off paperwork I also add Photographs as follows, 1, Dash showing current mileage/kms, 2,Front view of the bike, 3,Side view left, 4,Side view right, 5,Rear view of bike, 6,VIN stamp on frame or headstock, 7,Vin plate, usually riveted on the frame on some bikes, 8,Engine number, close up view to be able to read it but far enough away to see it is from the bike you are claiming. Sometimes a bit difficult but 2-3 pictures may be necessary to achieve it.
Since I have followed the above "Add Pictures" method, I have never had to arrange for a bike to be inspected before getting a V5 issued.
