All the German pipes are like that. My old LC had those downpipes cut off and new ones bolted on.

Curious why the 1ww were restricted. I know the 100ps in the 80s. But why resticting the 31k? Always like a 31K rebuild, in a very similar state to mine when I got it, and now looking like a new one. Well done. Didn't the Germans have a 35Kw/hp restriction or something, believe I have some brochures somewhere stating the output on the cover. Just had a look on Xaviers' site and might be getting confused with the various 250 '27ps' brochures.

my friend welded it back together, son sand blasted and painted it in 2k satin black.
