Started my RD today after its been sitting for a couple of weeks and the rev counter is slow. It comes up after rev's increase really slowly. When bike is turned off it takes a while to drop to zero. Checked the cable and its not pinched and the wire is rotating and doesn't slip so I think its a problem in the clock itself. Anybody else had issues like this ?

Only 'easy' solution is to undo the cable at the Clock and spritz a bit of WD 40 into the area. WD isn't lube but it has solvents which can soften congealed goo. Might try lubing the cable as well. Maybe overkill, but it also won't hurt anything
