Hi guys, whats the general idea for changing or modifying steering stops on RGV yokes? is it best to cut off old ones and weld new? I don't really want it to look like a bodge so all suggestions welcome. Thanks.

if u drill n tap it hide the bolt in a recessed alloy sleeve/spacer ... Nige at nk does a good job of welding on a nice set of lock stops...

I personally like the drilled and tapped option too.
As Mr Kipling says you can either make a nice alloy sleeve, or do as I do and turn a stainless threaded stop down. The advantage of this is you can have minor adjustment by making the stops or sleeves slightly different diameters to fine tune.

Drilling and tapping the holes is not beyond most peoples aptitude.
I could make either sleeves or stops to screw in.
