Hi lads Started doing a bit of maintenance on the n1 yesterday when I see a tie wrap round holding the oil tank ? What’s the score? I take it there’s a bracket for that ? Anyone got one? Cheers Pete

This pic is a bit worse but you can see the bracket on the frame where the oil tank bolts to ..

Broken oil tank bracket, so cable tie as a quick fix. I had this bracket cracks on my 2 F2's and had done a small bracket bolted on the hole in the frame where the cable tie pass through...

I've had a few broken there too Must be to flimsy with all the oil swishing about As said I've bolted a bracket through the frame as well Unless it's a resto of course

They are flimsy and often get blasted off if having powdercoating done.
