Couldn't have said that better myself Mark Really appreciate your help today, and to everyone that added to this thread. It's obviously an issue that many of us experience at some point and it's great to have so much input Never seen the reverse bleed method done before, and Mark predicted exactly what was gonna happen next !! It's ready now - got a bit on this week so may see if I can get it booked for an MOT on Saturday. There are a couple of cosmetic changes to be made - wheel swap - which I will probably do after the Mot, and I'm gonna take the paint off the clutch perch to match the master cylinder but that's it. Cant wait !! Alex - will probably go to Black Dog as it's so local and next Saturday is my wife's birthday, so will probably have a busy day Thanks again all Dusty

That’s a great result. So reverse bleeding isn’t what I expected it to be, I had assumed that reverse bleeding was pushing fluid back up the lines from the caliper bleed nipple with a syringe.

Yea, that's what it sounds like. The old way of pumping fluid down the line through to the caliper bleed nipple is what I've always done in the past, and is an awkward thing to do on your own. This is so simple in comparison. Once we changed the master cylinder over for one that worked, the tapping action on the lever saw bubbles appear in the reservoir almost instantly. Mark spent approx. 40 minutes getting the air up until there was no more left. Sort of thing you can do with a cup of tea in the other hand, so real bonus !! So desperate to give it it's inaugural road test but it's bloody snowing here at the moment Dusty
