hi everyone
just saying hello
bought a 31k ypvs recently - bit the bullet and stumped up the cash - cant believe how expensive they are getting - because i am old and bought a brand new 350lc in 1980 for £930 so i was living in the past and did not think they were worth the money. but i really wanted to get one again so did the deed - over the years i have had all the versions except the Brazilian one and raced them for quite a few years as well so looking forward to summer to re-live my yuuuff . hope the reality is as good as the memories but i do realise it wont go round corners or stop like the new stuff but i am sure riding a 2 stroke again will be fun. will try to post a pic or two but it seems a bit complicated - using 3rd party host - will have a read of how to do this
regards dave

yes i was on about £50 - £60 i think - not sure but i saw a picture in Bike Magazine of the 350 due to be released and i had to have one so went to local dealer and put deposit down even though could not get one for a few months - red/white - it was the early one which had to have the carbs, exhaust, oil pump modified on a recall but i did not care , i had a 350lc - i had an rd400 at the time but the 350 was soo much better

nice retro picture been there - used to do that in the early 80 s - carnaby/cadwell,elvington etc spare set of bars and some levers and good to go again - not like today when you crash - fibreglass - plastic everywhere, clip ons trashed actually did that rather too much - it hurt a bit but you did not seem to mind back in the day - probably asking the lc to do something it didnt want to do and using the " if he can go round that corner at that speed so can i " reasoning what could possibly go wrong
