ive bought some banshee barrels for my ypvs race bike and just wondered if anyone knows if the standard ypvs head works on them..
im sure dave..muttsnuts would know...where are you dave..lol.

You’ll have to weld a 90 degree elbow on your banshee head on the outlet. I don’t know if there is enough pipe protruding to cut it at 45 degrees and ‘lobster back’ it? If not I’m sure pipe the right diameter can be sourced. Fail that turning down a tube would allow you to make a lip on the end to retain the pipe better. Welding cast to billet is specialised though as I know there are separate rods for either cast or billet.

So is the difference the outlet pipe position/angle and the lack of thermostat housing?

I have a banshee head which will be going into a track bike and if i have to change the outlet i was thinking of machining it off and bolt a block on with an O-ring. This would be similar to the wicked head design for the inlet of their cylinder heads.

Maybe need an inline joiner required too.

unless they are after market barrels banch barrels have less BHP then standard 350 ypvs they are more like the lc at about 45 or less , and no ypvs heads thewater jacket do not fit but if you are still looking drop me a line i may be able to help with a head
