I don't know a huge amount about household or industrial electrics so I am hoping some one on here will be able to advise me. I have recently bought a horse solarium for my wife horses and it has a standard household plug, the electrics in the stable block are industrial and the lower unit and plug is a 32a 200/250v unit can I buy an adapter to change this to run the solarium the only adapters I can seem to find are 16a to 13a these are physically too small. Thanks

If you know you haven't got a 3 phase supply to the stable? it 'should' be ok to get an adaptor, you should also down rate the supplying fuse or breaker in case of a fault, I'd also fit and earth trip just in case. Could you visit a local elect wholesale unit and ask in there. They are usually quite knowledgable as they deal with contractors etc most of the time.

You may need to make an adaptor lead using a 32a plug, a section of cable and a 13a trailing lead socket
