Hi Cooper Why not have a go yourself ? It may seem daunting, but they really are easy engines to build. I did a thread on an Lc engine rebuild, and the Ypvs is virtually the same so you could follow that thread - bottom end especially. I've also done a thread on a Ypvs rebuild but lost the pics to Photof**kers, but could reinstate any that you would need. Make yourself a cheap engine stand/support, get all the parts you need - I can help with part numbers if you need them - get yourself a clutch tool and torque wrench and go for it !. It's an enjoyable process if you do it methodically and doesn't take long - if you had all the parts you need and everything is prepared you can build it up in a few hours. Guys here will talk you through if you have concerns - questions get answered really quickly as there are lots of helpful members on here. If you've stripped it yourself then you are certainly capable of putting it back together !! And I think stripping them down is often more involved than building them back up so you've done the hard bit already Good luck Dusty

When we did Mouse's pv engine this year, we made a list of all the parts like gaskets, seals, "O" rings, circlips etc we would need and he bought them before hand. Makes reassembly a doddle. My advice would be use genuine Yam parts where possible - most stuff is still available. And do a pressure test when you have completed the build - essential for a stroker build. The guys will know what to do Enjoy Dusty

sounds like you are sorted, and both Karl and Dave have my number if there are any issues/questions, so I reckon you'll be zing-ding-dinging in the new year

Cooper, I remember seeing your bike in the past. Did you do/get it painted?
I’ve only just realised though after painting my F2 that it looks like ‘classic decals’ F2 decal set in non standard colours?

did it all myself mate..apart from frame ect thats all powder coated,, but im gona change the frame to black next year .and the wheel to red.ect il paint them myself ..as the powder coated paint will make for a good primer with a rub down.
the decals i had a guy make them for me .were i used to work .they are good set lasted a while now ..and i didnt get to laquer over them so they realy are good ..well over 3 years now..
thanks again to all you guys for the offers ,,merry xmas to you all on here...
