Sunday i went out for a spin on the LC and witnessed a little accident.
There was a couple of men in i think mid twenties with big beards wearing p*ss pots and driving a Triumph Thruxten, a scrambler and some other type of cafe racer. The traffic lights went red and the first bike went over the white line and started braking.
The man behind him panicked put the anchors on full fell off and hit the back of the first bike. Luckily it was a very slow speed accident. Everyone stopped and and told the man to stay where he was and carted his bike off to the side of the road. I was already thinking what's going on let him get up he's blocking the the road (sorry but i'm not very good with this sort of situations). After a short time the man stood up and you could see he was shocked (his eyes were really wide open).
He walked to the side of the road and lied back down half on the kerb and the bicycle path. His hands were trembling from the accident. I thought oh thats not good. He then reached into his jacket pulled out his telephone laid his head back and pulled an "i'm almost dead" face and took a picture. He then started frantically texting on his phone with his hands still trembling.
Another man who was standing next to me Just said "yeah he's from another generation" then jumped on his push bike and rode off. After a couple of minutes and a telephone call, the man stood up and started inspecting his bike. It just looked like one indicator lens was broken. I also asked him if he was ok and he started complaining that it would not have happened if Triumph had fitted ABS.
I then walked away thinking "Pr*ck maybe you should learn how to ride a bike"
