64. Way too (ahem) young. I'll miss him.

My favourite all time band, been a huge fan since the early 80's I didn't see them in concert until the 90's. My older brother saw them in Coventry at the lanchester polytechnic as was in the late 70's with Bon but I was just a wee lad. Cant believe they have just fizzled out, Brian can't tour, Phil rudd has a drug problem, cliff williams is retired and now the real backbone and founder is dead. Real real shame for music. Add in the passing last year of the lemmeister, all my musical heroes are pushing up daisies.

Still got my denim jacket from back in the day with the Thank You Hammersmith patch AC/DC gave out to fans in December 1979.
Shame it doesn’t still fit me though 😜

I've been playing AC/DC non stop in the workshop...neighbours love me, honestly. I only saw them twice, the Black Ice tour in Wembley, then the same tour down under in Perth. Both gigs blew me away, I just marvelled at the sets, the music, everything. They even had a HUGE inflatable Rosie and a train on the stage! And what looked like real cannons when they played For Those About to Rock. What a band.
