Thanks copper. I blew it up about 4 years ago after a full rebuild after only a couple of hundred k's. Got the shits and forgot about it. Then a mate annoyed me to get it going. Lucky for me he's a 2t guru who rebuilt the crank and reassembled the engine properly for me. At the moment I'm just having a ball.

Thanks fellas. Over hear you can get club rego but has restrictions . I have it on single seat rego so it works out the same as club rego without the restriction.

I honestly can say it never ceases to amaze me. I'm 116kg and it moves me around effortlessly. I can only imagine what those 50kg japanese riders feel. ha

Lovely Ken!
I have a QLD single seat rego compliance plate for my LC, the thing had the last 5cm of the seat cut off which was annoying, these days I can see they are less restrictive and the lack of pegs looks to be enough. Iev left the plate off my bike, no sense confusing the NSW coppers with it as mine is a 2 seater and we dont have single seat rego here of course.

Iev left the plate off my bike, no sense confusing the NSW coppers with it as mine is a 2 seater and we dont have single seat rego here of course. I've had a few bikes registered as single seat Jon. Firstly my FJ. I removed the footpegs , cut down the seat ,took it into the Dept of T'Port and the office chick didn't even come out to look at it. I asked why and she said I've ticked the box saying it was as per the rules. So wrecked a seat for nothing. Then I did the old cb. Just took the pegs off and no worries with that. This time with the RD ,they didn't even come out to confirm VIN # or Engine#. They trust the RWC issuer it would appear. Suits me.

You’d be filthy about butchering an original seat for no good reason I reckon!
The log book scheme here in NSW has been extended for a further 2 years, so I am hoping it becomes permanent, as it is brilliant value for money.

Is that where you nominate a certain number of days that you can ride the bike at a reasonable price? Do they need a RWC every year? I have no idea how it works . For say 4 or 5 of my bikes, 20 days a year would be ample.

needs an annual check, but can be club guy and you get 60 days you need to log on a card before you ride each time but you also get 40km from home anytime for testing. 60 is the number, you dont nominate.

And your historic rego includes the green slip. Cost is $99 for the first year, which includes the number plate but my renewals this year were just $46, which is soooo cheap!

That sounds good. I wish we could have that up here. I'm sick of sneaking out bikes on our backstreets just to keep them alive wondering whether or not the car coming up the road is a copper.

Just got my LC on a historic rego $75 for the year, you can test ride within 30 kms of your home and ride to and from historic meets We have the 7th blue haze day this Sunday so the LC gets an outing if I get some time I’ll post some pics Lovely bike btw nothing makes you grin more than that first squirt on the band 😁 And your historic rego includes the green slip.
