two friends of mine bought one each at launch 4 months later they both gave them back to Honda, poor build quality both had a new set of wheels spokes rusted, and general nuts and bolts went scabby within weeks one had issue with quality on topbox, they replaced the wheels with another set and they rusted, Honda now are not replacing wheels under warrenty, rumors 18 plate will have ss spokes, the build quality on the AT are rubbish, I have a bmw f800gs as a hack and touring bike and its brilliant bike...
as above I am waiting on the tenere to launch

Fozzy had a new set of wheels, but apart from that hasn’t missed a beat, no corrosion anywhere. It’s used all year round all weathers except snow/ice, so are my 2 strokes if that’s what I fancy taking. Cleaning and maintainance is key or anything will go scabby including bmw’s

It’s used all year round all weathers except snow/ice, so are my 2 strokes if that’s what I fancy taking. Cleaning and maintainance is key or anything will go scabby including bmw’s they replace the wheels with the same wheels with toffee spokes, the bmw I have 58 plate. the spokes are mint, because they are stainless steel and the two that returned them were both low mileage bikes and both were really well looked after and low mileage and not every day bikes both had hacks for back and for to work, look on adventure bike forum you cant miss the threads on them, its about 90 pages long, build quality is no1 issue other is gearbox issues..to be fair Honda did eventually give all the money back and they owned the bikes for a few months.
but 12k for a bike that's rusts within a month I would be pissed
