Out with broughton yesterday for a bimble all run in last time i did a plug chop was running rich so left as is because ive got a gianelli pipe on,giving it some beans flew past him and a few cars then boom locked back wheel up took a nano second to comprehend what was happening brain kicks in while pulling a 20 mtr skip ferk pulled clutch in,pulled up thinking oh no.good old broughton had his trusty tool kit with him pulled plug out nice and grey n says youve seized it, i continue stripping by the roadside whenn waiting for a very nice man in a yellow van to turn up dropped water head off front of piston melted, looks like no damage to bore. question is this if bores not damaged can i just replace piston n rings or is it strip crank ?? ps my own fault i was caning it lol

Bummer What's your setup (carb, jetting, airbox/pod etc.)?, they very rarely have timing/ignition issues and with the right jetting you can thrash them all day. I have thrashed mine to death for several thousand miles and it's been fine

RD's need to be upjetted off the standard exhaust, I doubt any carb off eBay would be jetted right out the box. What type of carb is it ? 10W ? If you can post your barrel, I can put you in-touch with a decent bloke to do you a rebore & piston.
