Feeling your Pain Mouse, Ive had ACL reconstruction on my right knee twice... first time i had it repaired and went back to work i slipped on some oil and snapped the weak new 'ligament' thingy they removed from my hamstring... take it easy with the recovery.. All the best for the Op...

Hi, Mouse, you really have stunning machine there, if my LC2 hybrid looks anything like as good as yours I'll be a very happy boy. Can you tell me what that new swinging arm is off? and is it the same length as the RGV? I'm still slightly worried about the RGV arm, in some angles it just looks very long to me. But I still have not sen one in real life. Thanks.

Yes they are both the same length, they are interchangeable, the only difference is the way the 'dog bones' attach. Mouse

Finally got a new lid! Have been looking for a Shoei 'X-Spirit 3, for over a year, however i do not want to pay the RRP of £600! Nobody but nobody would discount them, until a couple of weeks ago. Found the shop online, went to try it on and bought one, massive saving, very happy! Mouse

Hi mouse, any chance you can show mw how you made the brackets to mount the fairing/headlamp frame? I can quite see on these pics. Thanks.

Hi, will get some better pics at weekend, but the top yoke is an NK one and the bottom is a modified RGV one by NK, to accept the standard headlight, fairing, clock cradle. Mouse

Thanks Mouse, yes very helpful, I can see he's drilled and tapped the bottom yoke so thats easy enough, looks like the top yoke may be more work than I thought but still relatively easy I think.

Looking really good mate Have you got a soldering iron ? I use the cooler edges of the hot iron to shrink the shrink wrap. Doesn't take much and always works for me Dusty

Hi Mouse, a hair drier is not hot enough for heat shrink to shrink nice and tight, you can your bare flame moving over it swiftly, I like to use the exhaust heat off my mini/portable gas soldering iron.. cheers Dono

Yesterday i picked up my 'P' swingarm from the powdercoaters. They have done their usual brilliant job, have now fitted the chain and new bearings and just waiting for some new dogbones, to raise the rear end, then i can fit the swingarm.

Finally!! Got round to fitting the 'P'arm. Had a few delays, then an issue with the bearings, all sorted now.
Fitted with NK's shorter dog bones to raise the rear for more ground clearance. Re-fitted the sharks fin, chain adjusters, bobbins etc. Also attached the new brake hose in the usual way. After all that i couldn't live with the 'scabby' old RGV wheel spindle, so bought a NOS one, also got the front too!
When i bought the swingarm, the bent wire cable guide came with it. These are NLA, so cleaned it up and painted it.
Spent some time aligning the rear brake push rod with the master cylinder as it was way off. Got hold of some nylon spacers and got it much better
So bike runs, all fluids in except brake fluid. Next stop, Yorkshire for pipes via the painters!
