Harris Magnum 2 - I drove down to just outside London to a "specialist bike builder" to order the bike - took delivery about 12 weeks later - first time I went for a blast after about 10 miles the loom went on fire 😢.
Cue several months of agro and numerous phone calls before bike duly repaired at a local bike shop 😄
Everything seemed fine fine for a couple of months until Mr Plod visited to advise the "specialist bike builder" had been busted for selling stolen bike parts and they were taking my bike to have the engine serial number checked.
received a phone call a week later to advise the z1000 engine number had been tampered with (shit) and it was from a suzuki(?) - I think not! But as they had no record of the engine number being stolen I could have my bike back !
ran it for about two years - always enjoyed it but the pillion seat was to small for my future wife- so eventually one of them had to go - no comment !!!

Here's mine:
started of with a crashed Suzuki RG125 to repair and learn on then:
350LC (bought in 1991 and still got it) Kwak ZZR600D Yamaha XJ750 seca - bought as a non-running rat as I got knocked off the ZZR a few weeks before I was due to go to the Bol d'or - got it going, recut one of the tyres (I was a bit more naughty back then) and used it to go to the south of france and back. Suzuki TL1000S Honda CB1000 'big one' (current) Then the accidental 'winter bike' double purchase due to alcohol, simultaneously bout a bandit 400 and GPZ500S - used the 500 for the dragon rally, it was on ebay 30 minutes after arriving home! Yamaha FJ1200/Squire ST combination - currently in bits and not been touched for 3 years after it tried to kill me!
I think that's it as I tend to stick with bikes I like.

my most valuable would deffo be my old Cb1100rc, Sold it and bought an Lc11 dooh. purchase price to value now would probably be my FS1E's bought 2 for £5 when I was 15, 1984 god I'm old, but that was when you could buy 20 fags for about 75p

Here's my short list,
Sept 82 Honda xl 125 s I think Feb 84 Suzuki got 125 or 185 not sure which March 85 new rd 350lc in white, only owned for 6 months and then some lowlife nicked it from outside Stockport college and never seen again. October 85 Kawasaki kdx200 enduro Jan 86 rd 350lc in a full Marlboro fairing and race look alike tail unit, reg XNC 36X according to dvla it is currently sorn and mot expired last April 2015, anyone's on here? August 86 new rd350 ypvs n2 in black August 87 new Kawasaki klr650 only owned it for 12 weeks and sold it to some guy who was going to turkey on it. February 88 bought a nearly new D reg rd 500 v4, kept for 10 months then had to sell it for a deposit on a house.
Bit of a gap and then got the itch itched and bought a 2010 triumph speed triple that I still own today.

Here is my list, These are the main ones, many more came and went but are not really missed.
H100A (see, that's 2 of us!) Z250A GT250X7 ( what was all the fuss about?) RD350 N YPVS RD500 ( sold to dealer for £1500 as I needed car, doh!) RD350LCII GSXR750H RD350 N YPVS RC30 (sold to get fireblade, idiot!) CBR900RRN HARRIS MAGNUM 5 (cos I smashed the fireblade to bits) DUCATI748 SP (aaaarrrrrgggghhhh, its all true NEVER AGAIN.) RD350 N YPVS (yup, I like them) RC30 again, (nobody wanted them at one point, paid £3,500 for it!) ZX636 DRZ400SM CBR1000rr5 OW01 (pretty close to a 4 stroke LC) RD250LC. (being brought back to life right now)
I still have the last 2, would love to have most of these back to be honest.
