Hmmmm, it's been a while. Done the odd little bit and bob but mainly sidetracked by other things. A bit of a change of plans too. I wanted a modified Lc2 but as that's not what the project started as I was going to end up with a "half anorak, half not" build which when I looked at it didn't seem quite right. Only option was to build this one totally standard ( but usable ) and you guessed it I've bought another to build as the modified bike. So it's back to original brakes, swing arm and pipes Need to get my finger out now and get this one finished Steve

I'm glad you didn't tell me I have got some originals but not quite good enough for a resto It's all the masking that's soul destroying Matt

For LC spokes I always use a product called maskol it's a modelling rubber masking solution that you paint on it rubberises spray over once dry peel it off loads quicker than trying to mask with tape.

Refurbed carbs, genuine cable and genuine fuel lines fitted Tie bars refurbed and fitted Brake calipers stripped, cleaned, painted and new seals fitted. Also decided to change the forks as had another pair I was building for my other build so decided to fit the better pair to this bike. New stanchions, bushes and seals. Lowers were polished so gave them the scotchbrite treatment. Trying to get a little bit done each day or so to move this on a bit quicker. Bodywork with Mark Cordwell so should have it back in a couple of weeks now. Steve
