Well while waiting for the panels for the Rs/Rd hybrid build I thought it was a good time to start hybrid build number 3 More to see what else I'll need to source for it With the lc off to Highlander it's give me a breathing space in the shed So here we go New headstock bearings and front end went in Next was the rear end with custom Jmc swinger With standard shock for now,R6 shock powdercoated and bushed ready for action later Front wheel on Carbon mudguard Front brakes on,both wheels have been powdercoated with new discs and tyres In with an engine and some Tsa pipes Now I can move all them spare parts about the shed This ones gonna be standard panels with no frame mods Cheers Matt

Matt, that's an interesting swingarm. What's it off.
Your picture of the front brakes on made me do a double take, as the rear wheel looks like it's in front of the rear panelwork. Optical illusion, as at that angle the panelwork fits the tyre shape exactly.
I was looking at my build yesterday, and it seemed sort of 'small and stout' with the standard bodywork and ride height, but chunkier running gear. This has that same look. I like it.
Jon

Jon Hi Jon I thought it looked low and chunky as well,I might have to jack the back slightly I'll wait until it's got the panels sprayed before I decide As for the swinger I was told it was custom made by Jmc for a ypvs It's got jmc stamped by the adjusters Cheers Matt

Hi Matt Yea be good to meet you at long last !! I'm bringing Mouse with me - he is house bound due to his leg so it will be good for him to get out for a bit and take his mind off things. Mark is pre booked unfortunately so cant do either of the days We will be there same sort of time as you I expect. Looking forward to it. Martin does a great job arranging it all, and the offer of tickets is a lovely gesture too. Top guy and a really nice family too. See you Saturday. Regards Dusty
