Does anyone know if there is likely to be a decent showout of Jap classics (well, 2 strokes is what I really mean) at this show next weekend, or is it mainly Brit bikes? I'd like to go, but only to see 70's and 80's stuff. Thanks.

From memory (if I haven't got it the wrong way around), I think the October one is more Jap based but there will still be a good few there for sure. Problem for me is that it will be 90% all the same bikes that are displayed at every show all year round. I know Norbo tries his best to mix the bikes up he displays but on most stands it's the same people on a social weekend with the same bikes each time. We used to go to a lot of shows but haven't been to one for years now

Ok, thanks guys. I'm sort of in 2 minds whether to go, but definitely will be sticking the October one on the calendar. May even have the bike ready to ride up there by then!

I've just had a look at my photos from Stafford Shows. Bearing in mind that I was only taking pictures of two stroke bikes, I can't say that I can see any significant difference in the number of japanese bikes between the Spring and Autumn shows. I'm going anyway, on Saturday, to show people my book, especially the people whose bikes are pictured in it.
Cheers Dave

Metmachex have another LC on the way. This one is a straight four, across the frame. Outer cylinders are reversed, inner ones the normal way round. It seemed to be attracting more interest than the latest Honda RCV race replica on the other side of the walkway!

Spent quite a time looking at the RDTZ350 - with the exception of the seat hump it looked superb - the RCV nearby attracted significantly less attention !
I wonder if Metmachex are going to offer them for sale or if it is just a project ? - The engine looked very TZ like - did it use TZ cases or 350LC ?
Cheers Paul

15k if you want 1 building I suppose there is a significant amount of work in materials in the bike as I look around at the details of it.
Thanks

I don't like it, it looks too podgy, just like looking at a Joey mackerel compared to a large one. If you know what i mean

For me its just the pillion seat hump that doesn't look good - not obvious from the photo but the riders portion of the seat looked stylish and well made. It looked better with the front Brembo's fitted as well ! The bike seemed to exude quality when I saw it at Stafford Does this bike have real TZ cylinders ? - wouldn't these be unusable for road use ? Cheers Paul
