Great description of your fantastic build. Just love the excitement you have created around the finish. Lots of guys are hanging. Drag the finale out a little longer. Could you pm me your seat guys details. Thanks.

Thanks for the comments chaps. Almost done now, looking back through my own thread it's amazing where the time has gone. Didn't wanna get it painted in case I missed a bit of summer and now it's October already. I nicked the photo of his Facebook page as it has my bike in the background I'll pm you the seat guy details and next week we should be smokin!!

Those pipes look beautiful Are they Mark Dent pipes ? Think I recognise the workshop from his Facebook page. I know Mouse has them on his Lc hybrid and they work really well and look awesome. The bike is looking really nice now. Good luck with the start up Dusty

Thanks again chaps. Yes that's right, they are Mark Dent items. He asked me what size cans, I said if it's down to aesthetics I'd like smaller. He replied it's down to noise. So smaller it is then lol. He has actually sent me a video of it running!!! Sounds sweet (v loud too!!) should be set up during this week, need to get a new brembo rear master to fit the new Rearsets (Nk) fit the new chain runner to swinging arm and we are off. Would anyone like to hear it?

Well, picked it up today. Couldn't get it set up on the dyno due to the chain touching the rear tyre!!?? It clears till the spindle nut is tightened then rubs on the tyre. Aa far as I know all the bearings, spacers, carrier etc are correct. The solution we have come up with is a 6 mm spacer behind the cushdrive spacer to get clearance on the chain without shifting the whole wheel across. Any other suggestions welcome. So, I'm gonna try and get the new rear brembo master from pdq tomorrow, fit and bleed it, fit the chain runner. Mot it and take it for a spin. It does sound the nads and crisper than an iceberg lettuce so really looking forward to it!! Watch this space

put washers / spacers behind the sprocket ! on all 5 or 6 bolts make sure they are all the same size maybe 2 on each to move it out if needed i wouldnt space out the caliper carrier as it wont be seated correctly in its rubbers especially as your using rgv im sure gsxr carrier is a bit wider and stronger if i remember correctly they are known as a weakish point on rgv's if your running more power rg500's can destroy them

Spacer behind the cushdrive has done the job by the looks of it so we dropped the arm out to fit the chain guide

Tetchy!! thanks for commenting initially. I asked if anyone had any ideas, that's all!! Yes, you replied but I really can't believe that putting 2 washers behind each sprocket bolt is less of a bodge that putting one spacer to space the whole cush drive out, you've obviously misread what I've actually done as it doesn't inlvolve the caliper at all??!! It's motd, I've ridden it, it's fine. Remove your post if you like and remove the one telling me it's a bodge. I would recommend you have a bit more respect in future eh?

Looks and sounds spot on pal I can't belive matey boy got upset about you not spacing the sprocket of the wheel....why would you want to remove the support for the rear sprocket and have it floating on 6 or so mounting points???

You could have just run a grinder round one side of your tyre and taken 10mm off it that would have sorted it for sure. Either that or maybe buy an offset engine sprocket Sticking a spacer behind your cush drive would mean it didn't seat properly and as the RGV rubbers are known to be a weak point already you will end up with your sprocket carrier slopping about on the wheel like an old hookers money-maker in no time at all.
