Thanks Matt. Yeah slightly frustrating. I run an extremely busy garage/tyre centre/mot station and always get things done as quick and efficiently as possible whilst keeping people informed with the progress. Word of mouth is the best recommendation after all. Anyway, hopefully I'll be on the road soon!!! Cheers

Thanks gentleman and yes, you are correct. It is a Mark Dent build. Gotta get the whole bike back to him when it's built for the exhausts. Get it going, run it in and ride it then decide on paint over winter. Hopefully will be on the road soon and will be completely finished by next year.

Well, the engines in, I've done a full bolt tighten up and the whole bike has gone back to Mark Dent for the pipes to be made. Also he's gonna sort out new throttle cables, wire new ignition and make/sort gear rod out for me. When he's finished doing that it will be running and finished (bar finished paintwork which I still can't decide on) GET IN!!!!!!!!! The plan is collect it, ride it, run it in and then decide and sort paintwork over winter. This is the final straight now and I am getting moderately excited. Hopefully a couple of weeks!!!

Hi Engine looks awesome Mark Dent is a talented guy for sure. Lives a couple of miles from me, and hopefully will set up my black hybrid when it finally gets done. His pipes are stunning - his welding is a work of art. It will be a lovely bike when you are finished Dusty

Hi dusty thanks. He's only a few miles from me too. Thanks for that, I've seen his welding and it does look the nads. He reckons we should be at around 65 bhp. Looking forward to it!!!!

Thanks. Just got insurance pretty much organised for it today. The lc with all modifications declared and my tl1000r with yoshi cans for £360 fully comp. done through Peter James insurance as recommended on this forum. Bennetts wanted all the info then pictures of the mods before even being able to confirm they can cover me.
