Mark Cheers Mark it was a labour of love Matt All your hard work paid off Matt. I've never owned an F1. Had two 31K's and an F2 (which I sold 5 years ago for ยฃ1,200 with 10K miles on the clock! - DOH) Always thought the F1 was the prettiest full fairing PV and I can't remember seeing an F1 like yours, in that condition, except when new.
Superb build, well done again mate

Very nice. Very envious. Had one of these brand new in 1987 for ยฃ1600ish. Loved it,kept for a couple of years, but sold it for a Kawasaki gpz600 which I hated.

Hi Matt
That's where I want to get to with my newly acquired frame
Quick query, are there indents on the front of the tank to accommodate the clip ons when turning or is it just an optical illusion?
I really hope not as I have a spare 31K tank which WAS just that, I hope I can now fit it onto my frame, along with all the other bits I need to fit

Hi mate There's no indents on the tank, must be an illusion Standard 31k tank Cheers Matt

Hi Matt
Cheers for that info, one less expense to deal with
just hoping I can acquire the motor that came out of the frame now, then the front fairing bits and I can start the rebuild
Sounds so simple when you write it down, it's not proving so in practice
But that's the fun of it
