Wow - awesome build - love the detail Top job Matt and I can't believe you've done all at that in 7 months
IMHO with so much quality detailing to enjoy you could get away with subtle body work - what colour are you thinking of?
Can't wait to see it...

Nothing to show lads I went to the painters yesterday hoping for some progress But knowing there wouldn't be any,the panels were in the same place as I left them 4 months ago So I picked them up,brought them home, after lending a spot welder Buying a new da sander, two boxes of sanding pads and a tub of filler,I set about prepping them myself 24 hours later I called him round mine to check the prep was good enough Cheeky git offered me a job couldn't believe I pulled a dent, fillered, fibre glassed and prepped them in one day After 4 months I do wonder what he's been up to Returning them all back to him tomorrow , gonna be right on his case now Cheers Matt

They had 2 of my H1 500 exhausts for plating (chrome), and told me they have to be cleaned in their tank before plating. I phoned every 2 weeks for news and they kept repeating - not clean enough inside. After 7 months I went in to them took my exhausts home. I used an alkaline cleaner mixed with hot water. A bung in the end of the exhaust, shook for a couple of minutes, emptied, repeated a few times and the exhausts were completely clean inside and out. Returned them to CCB the next day and they couldn't believe it.
I think they were trying to not look lazy and butter me up a bit. They then took another 5 months to do 1 small repair and chrome the pipes! Never used them since.

Hi Mark I stupidly thought I'd move up the pecking order after throwing so much money and work his way I'm seriously thinking of buying the gear and starting to paint all my own stuff He's so busy but does a top job,,there's the dilemma Cheers Matt

The exhausts look much better mate...it's a pain having to wait for people I think this is why I do most of the jobs myself but it does put a Strain on you...you have to do one job at a time...watching with interest buddy keep up the good work :-)

Matt, I know what you mean about pecking order. I think people follow an order to do peoples jobs by - 1) The job that is worth the most to them 2) The easiest job 3) To the customer who is kicking off the most
So being loyal, paying quickly, and being a nice guy count for nothing!
I personally hate missed deadlines/dates, when your waiting for a part to come back so another part can be worked on. You end up guessing or loose your momentum
As Topman says, you end up doing more and more yourself.
On a positive note, your exhausts look brill
