Nice on lads :)Got it al set up yesterday but only had time for a quick go.Sorry for the crappy pics my camera sucks though it's a 5 mp one so maybe it's me being a numpty. Just gave the carb bottom a quick going over Hard to tell the finish in the photos but it looks really good and i should be able to get it better.I didn't spend much time on each one,i was too much like a kid with a new toy just wanting to try different stuff in it lol. Hopefully will get time this week to do a piece properly and get some decent pictures.

The pictures make the finish look smoother than it actually is to be honest. It all depends on how smooth the original finish was.I should be up and running this weekend so will get some better close up photos done and some more pieces done. I daren't post up what i've spent as our lass has a nasty habit of looking over my shoulder when i'm browsing ;D

I'm ready to go really but would like some opinions on what prices people think would be reasonable for various bits.I want to keep it cheap as possible for you all as you will also have postage to pay if not local obviously though i'm up and down to retford everyday for the next few weeks. Opinions on a fair price for say a caliper, yoke, side casing, crankcase, barrel, head, footrest hanger?

Hi mate,
What about an hourly rate, say £20/hour, then if you get a load of bulk parts off someone and it takes 3 or 4 hours, it's easy to work out. Put a minimun charge of say £10 on just to cover you in case the item is small and only takes 5 minutes. Or charge £10 handling fee plus an hourly rate. Some items would clean up bit of piss I would imagine, and some may take a couple of going overs, so on a time basis you and the customer are fairly covered.
Just thinking out loud!!!

I had my last lot priced as follows for an example; Calipers £10 the pair Wheels £10 each Engine cases top and bottom £20 He did me discount on the lot for £40 that was two wheels, pair of calipers and cases! He used his works equipment so you need to take into account electricity and possible future maintenance and up keep of the unit! but then I didn't have to pay postage So I suppose it's swings and roundabouts depending on what you want doing and how much you need doing
