HELP wanted .
I am doing a spesh with a big 485cc tuned up engine in and dont whant it to run hot during the summer. I have fornd my standard ypvs sometines does in very hot days and this being bigger i think its more likely to get to hot .
The pont of this post is i have seen a few bikes that have had the RGV rad fitted and i dont know what has been done to make it work right .
I have had a look at a rad i have and other then the pipes facing the wrong way i dont see how to get the water to the head and the header bottle as the ypvs has 2 inlets in the middle and the RGV had just 1 at the side .
If you have done thos mod or just have some pics of someone that has please help if you can .
Cheers .

i meant to aid cooling on the original rad before going to the trouble of a rad swap

The new RGV forks and front mudguard block the airflow and i have been toled by a couple of people since the swop on there bikes they have run hot.

There are a couple of very minor mods you can do Norbs....that will certainly help with the cooling..................
Run a cooler grade plug than normal ,
Increase the coolant to water ratio...i.e run 75% Glycol / Ethylene
There is also a product called water-wetter which increases the cooling ability enormously.........if I can find a link for a place that sells it - I'll post it up
