hi guys im in the making of converting a tzrr125 frame (4dl) into taking a lc engine as of yet the project has only just begun but its something ive been thinking of for a long time , anyways getting to the point i would really like to know if its possible to convert the 350 lump to a hyrdrolic clutch (execuse spelling lol) i feel this would really rock as one of the mods on the bike , now i know some people might as why bother but im one of those people that like to go one step further and make my bikes stand out a bit. as i see it i could joing all the other in passing me test and getting a vfr , zxr 400 etc but thats a bit borring plus it aint the same as a 2t, please excuse the jabbling on but 2ts really are a big part of me. thanks for takking the time to read and either way i hope someone can help me answer this question

I think its a great idea mate......make your bike that little bit more individual. Bit pricey though them thar units Vin mate....I know you said that it fits the Yammy Banshee....but , a quad is shorter coupled than a bike.....I wonder if the hydraulic pipe would reach ok on a YPVS or LC

good point donk your right it may not fit! would definitely advise to get measurements before shelling out that sort of money . Just had another look and they deal in the off road market so should be able to get one long enough.........maybe then the other way and too long but if it is braided hose it shouldn't cause that much of a problem Sorry tzrman not helping much I don't think

thats what i was thinking if the hose is braided and turns out not too be long enough then i could go to goodridge (there only up the road from me ) and give the the length i need and get a hose made up so that rock, right nxt plan track a ypvs lump down !!

The clutch slips on mega tuned engines so you have to put 3 TZ springs in to stop it but on a race bike you realy need 6 but with 6 you cant pul the lever in so i think they would be a nice mod . Id like to fined one thats eazy to fit to a lc . I know they are simple to fit to a ypvs the just replace the cable and sit in the same spot on the top of the engine but i understand they are not so simple to fit to a lc

the clutch on a pv motor is operated from the top of the engine case just behind the left barrel and the lc motor is operated from the left hand side of the engine, hope this helps

I see what you mean tzrman1984 I would be interested in doing this mod buddy also so let me know how you get on? As you said hoses can be sorted but not sure on the handlebar clamping! do those pit bikes have standard bars or are they a smaller diameter bar thickness? Certainly allot cheaper

its a do able mod for sure...seen it on an LC.The side cover needs modding for a suitable slave cylinder...the one on a Ducati monster looks a good one,as do the ones one some big Kwackas. You remove the adjuster part from the cover and place the slave cylinder here...it then acts directly on the clutch pushrod.
