has anyone fitted early fzr 600 forks, yokes and wheels .heard people talking about fzr400, but down hear in spain aint no 400's or 250 two strokes to rag apart. any ideas welcome

They might fit...but ideally you'd need to meassure them first. They'd need to be a similar length too.....otherwise you will adversely effect the handling. You may need to enlarge the yokes to accomodate them if theyre slightly wider diameter than the standard YPVS forks.

i've fitted a swinger from a fzr 400 but it's the same as the 6oo only it's ally. the yoke stem was way to long for the ypvs frame tho m8,so not sure how you'd get over that bit

I did my FZR400 conversion by swapping the stems and and it worked a treat ;D I believe the FZR600 are petty much the same in dimensions just maybe thicker sliders

Another thing you want to bear in mind is the wheel sizes!!! I ended up putting FZR250 wheels in front and rear because the 400 front is a fairly wide wheel and IMO looked odd compared with the 250 rear??? I wanted to keep the metmachex and a FZR400's 140 rear wouldn't fit comfortably But if your doing the complete conversion ie swinger it should look fine I then had to space the disks out with a 5mm spacer if my mind serves me right
