Here is my other toy, I had a brand new one in 2008 then wanted a sportsbike so bought a new GSXR1000 but after numerous sportsbikes I've gone full circle, age is a big factor

Age and .................common sense Seriously bikes, was very tempted by one but ended with a hornet instead. Got a cb900 and a cbr1000 in storage. Always had a big bigH since 18yrs of age......old fart now! hence the hornet.

I know a bloke with one of these, sitting unused with very little mileage on it. He wants to sell it, but not sure where would be best to advertise it.

Lovely 1300 you have there. I do like them a lot. I had an Xjr1300 for a time, which was a nice bike, but not in the Honda's league. I did consider a Cb1000r last year when I was looking for a big retro, but I found a trick Fz1n that I couldn't resist so ended up with that instead. Like you say, it's an age thing Dusty

Thanks Dusty, I like the XJR1300 but the build quality wasn't as good as the Honda, I nearly bought a B-king as I had a full power one on demo with Boss cans, but decided the CB1300 was built better and more comfortable. Here is my previous CB1300 before an OAP ran it over with his car.
I had this not long after my CB1300.

Nice bikes Coggan, Your current Cb are the colours for me Same with the CB1000R, I would want it in the tri colours if I had one. I always liked the XJR, and found a nice one through a friend of mine; Nice bike but I found it really vibey at anything over 60mph. Plus it was a bit boring for me - I'm no racer but I wanted a bit more from it than it had. I did have a couple of other big bikes, but finally settled with my Fz1n; Dusty
