built some more of the engine up just to make sure that no covers touch any where i know the water pump housing hits the frame and needs a scallop taking out of it so doing that tomorrow , i did engine and sanded off the old brackets and welds today , it cleaned up ok this is the exact angle the engine goes into the frame it will be plastic coated once bike is dry built and it comes apart again ,

There's plenty of space in my shed now I've sold the 3MA .. if you want to bring a bike or two up here to give you more room for your build you can do, it's alarmed and heated too

bought a new rear shock for it and changing the r6 one as its 15mm shorter than std going with gsxr600 06 ,it is the same as std shock but not as good looking as the r6 item so selling that on to pay for the other front and rear seats got here from holland ,they are like new got the sapc plugs today for the loom so i can have the zeel plugged in properly ,expensive though at £36 for 2 including post. and found a new rear seat lock ,it took me 8 months to find one last time for my other rs250 this time some for sale in spain new for £6

frame is going tommorrow for welding , just a patch on the frame to the left on the pic where the parcel tape is and the 4 mountings , it will have to go again once ive sorted the front ones got a mate to make me some spacers 1mm wider than the engine so it allows .5 of a mm each side for powder coating the spacers make sure the welder gets them spot on width for the engine

This looks awesome! fair play to you, a lot more work than your average 350 mito conversion. What you doing for pipes? The guy that runs our dyno at race weekends builds custom 2 stroke pipes, sells conversion kits for rg500 converted RGV's as well I would imagine he would be able to make some tasty pipes for this. performancefab.co.uk (not an ad or anything, i get nothing from this just might be helpful)

If you were to look at those Mito engine mounts. It's far from average.

A mate of a mate has a 350 mito and its an awesome bit of kit, cant imagine how much fun this aprilia will be

You have 2 stunning bikes to start with. i have this as well ,i need to get the wheels plastic coated white also got a mate rebuilding this for me to a good standard loads of nos bits and full new engine overhaul ,cranks are expensive to do and hard to find parts ,seals and bearings ,plus the shafts on the cranks are too soft so £300 at bdk for new everything on the crank i had a kr1 last year and just didnt like it ,as i wanted an s model and a red one , but a kr1s c-3in firecracker red are very few this is same day it was stripped ,got a really nice genuine nose cone and clear screen and it needs red wheels after this 500 build in going to do a supermoto type build with an nsr250 mc21 sp engine ive got i have all the stuff to run it like carbs .air solanoids pgm3 box etc i will get a newish crf rolling chassis at the end of the year ,i want it with mc21 rear swingarm and wheels and breaks i just need the wheels i have the rest . i want something like this ,but with a propper swingarm ,im not keen on the single sided one on this bike
