Hi Speedster, I'm doing a similar one, using yzr125r swing arm and wheels, aprilla front end. I'm just away to fab up brackets for the rear shock, any chance of some pics to see what you have done? what shock have you used?
Looking good, cant wait to see what it's like when finished.

Hi buddy when bought the subframe for the yzr it came with part of the frame so the link connection was there all I had to was cut it off shape it to fit where the top stand mount was on the frame lined it all up and tac welded it in place sorted....for the top mount I fabricated the original link plates of the yzr the half moon shape ones, I then replaced them with a new SS set to help lower the backend slightly, got all the bits from ebay I will had some pics soon as...the shock is from a fireblade will be in touch.

Lovely looking hybie - what's the swinger from?
I really like the back end (and that's quite unusual for me) - very minimalist and looks ultra-modern.
If I had funds to throw about, and it was my machine I'd consider commissioning a totally bespoke tank, to match the rear end (futuristic/angular) and it would be what I'd imagine Yamaha might build for their 2015 YPVS model :-)
Superb work, well done.
JB

Don't quite know why but the rear works for me too. All I would like to see is the mounting tab removed from the tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Needs a tank like a Gillera SC125/ Derbi GPR 125, to go with the rear. Just an idea not a criticism as I think its looking very good. A spray job like an anniversary R1 would look good as well.
Keep up the great work.
