Cheers guys! It's just my take on the italian/Jap theme not that you can see anything of the engine or frame on a MK2 Mito, just better than polished which it was. Having a headache with the rear brake but working 10 hours a day welding / fabricating so a little metalled out by the time I get home but getting there.

Damn just bought a new set of ramair filters but now have the 32mm carbs so the filters wont fit. Gone from 43mm inlet to 57.5mm inlet. OH well I will just add it the the ever growing list of second hand parts I will have to sell to keep this project going!

Is it possible to separate the reed block from the rubbers? with out damaging the rubbers. Should I just buy new reed blocks and sell the old ones with the carbs and filters as a job lot!

Funny that the ram air filters are not ram air at all, I know it's just a brand name like

Mine is coming on in leaps and bounds but unfortunately my camera and computer aren't speaking! So no photo's. I have made rear set mounts, sorted the cooling (fingers crossed) Started chopping the fairing but still a little apprehensive about cutting the hole for the clutch cover! I will contact TSA again tomorrow about getting the exhaust made and getting it ported. It's getting there a few bits from Norbo to sort the water pump and that is done and It should be ready to fire up! BRAAAAP!

You could have a mess on gearing commander if you wanna check out the difference sprockets make etc
Mines 17/40 on 2.68 straight cuts

Yazza thanks for the gearing commander link! I have decided to sort my own exhaust out. I have waited about 8 weeks for TSA but unfortunately he is too busy to book me in, fair play to the guy he is obviously good at what he does and in demand. I have bought myself a set of micron gp pipes and i'm going to cut them up and get them snug and looking just how I have planned in my head. I am a welder/fabricator so shouldn't be too hard. I have been doing loads to the bike but still computer and camera not talking! (better welder than IT) After the fiasco of fitting the new pistons i'm going to leaver the barrels on to sort the exhaust then drop the engine again, rebore, rings and base gaskets should see it ready to run!

I'm hoping my welding is better than my IT skills especially as I have sorted the computer/camera argument! Hoping this works because all it takes is one set of YPVS hoses! Out in the sun! Not looking forward to cutting the fairing up! Although have done a little cutting!

Well after messing about with my MIG I found my wire reel is fairly jammed so a quick trip to Machine Mart for some new wire. I tried to make new spring brackets this is my first attempt! After using the MIGs at work I didn't realise just how crap mine is! So back to my trip to get a new reel of wire and 400 quid later I now am fully set up with this! Now where is that teach yourself TIG welding sight?
