Hi mate bikes lovely by the way, I was wondering about that tz pump is it a big improvement over stock and what temp are you aiming for? Reason for asking I run a 427 banshee lump wiv chariot large impeller 55 degree thermostat and custom rad holds 1.2ltr overall about 1.6 ltr in the system will run 60 around town but flat out runs 70 ish any info would be gratefull as its buggin me I'd like to keep it in the low 60s,thank Chris

I've only ran it up in the factory as I don't have a gear box yet, I'm running startard clocks so ill be going off that gauge, I'd say 65 tho is what I'd like to run at.

Nice to see you pop back in Evo been a while you been keeping well i hope . Yes mate, all good thanks. Been really too busy to do anything with my bikes as I've been based in China on work projects since January so don't spend much time in the UK. Hoping to find some time soon though.

Forgive me if i'm being a dumbass - but whats the tank under the seat? (p.s those rearsets are so sexy they should be banned (or put on my bike)).

The tank under the seat is a oil tank, I will be mixing my fuel each fill up.

Very, very tidy build there - I'm most impressed!
I was just wondering though - how did you do the dry clutch, and still keep the kick start? I'm guessing maybe a TZ primary gear set, with a home made billet cover? If you could let the secret slip then that would be great, as I've been dying to do this to mine, but haven't fancied bump starting it everywhere...

OH yeah those TZ pumps weren't even a little bit 'problematic' OR the dry clutches. Which ate a disc or two EACH start.

Nice one So did you have to use the TZ main shaft as well? I've read that its a little longer than the LC one... And with the cover, did you machine it from scratch, or cut & shut an LC one, and then machine that up? Any help is much appreciated before I take the plunge, lol!

For the time being I've cut and welded the rd shaft and tz shat to make the shaft I need, over the winter I'm going to have 5 shafts made, I've made the cover out off billet, same again over the winter I will make around 5 to sell on.

That sounds good - can you either stick me on the list for one of each, or alternatively sell me a copy of either the plans or the solid model of each? ;o) The future of the LC project is looking bright - I've got a picture in my head now of the dry clutch, and maybe one of the exhausts curling through the middle of the frame and out by the seat, ala TZ750...

took the RD/TZ up and down the road at work today, feels very nice, lots of small jobs to be done then full frame powder coat. Attachments:

This gotta be the sickest RD build out there. Those rims are just mindblowingly awesome! I know it doesn't take any real building skills to build them, you pretty much just program a CNC mill and let it do the job, but it's still pretty fooking awesome. There's so many other cool parts on this bike, I love it!

The bike is nearly ready for the M.O.T so I can tax it then can ride her to see if all is ok before the full strip, powder coat the frame and send rest to get painted.

you cant paint it standard !,have it painted a one off that no ones had or seen before.i would, and have done in the past on other bikes ive owned and they always remember it when its going past etc.! but if you do go standard it will still be a great looking bike though.

I think standard will still look nice as I'm keeping the RD looks, there my own side panels and rear end so could buy a 2nd tank and do the one off paint also. Sounds good to me!!!

If you look the panels are longer at the bottom, I've had these made to cover the frame gap so I can get them made easy, just need a good tank.
