Thanks to this forum I have managed my first complete nut and bolt rebuild. Bought the bike from a guy at work who had it in his garage back home in Poland.Looked like this with blown up motor Shipped it here and 6 months later.......... After a bit of setting up went for a ride to the cafe at Abergaveny with my wife on her F650. Riders were at the cafe trying to get you to test ride a tractor! Once again many thanks for all the help especially Norbo. Cheers Webbo

Looks great and I think just 6 months is good going. Have you dared to work out what you've spent? Well done for getting another of these great bikes on the road.

The transformation is just amazing. The little RD looks so small next to a mid sized beemer. I don't remember the RD being so small when I was 20.

Cracking looking restoration you have done there congratulations and a real joy to ride I bet. Have never been to Abergaveny on bike have driven there a couple of times but not when the bikes gather. Is it usually a Sunday they meet, I understand quite a few can turn up on a sunny day. Will have to make the effort as it is only about 40 miles away. Rich.
