thanks mate^_^ ill deffo have to bring it to some shows to everyones comments really keep me going been a hard slog sourcing all these parts one thats giving me some greif is a nos right hand blue dot exhaust haha sure Ill find one eventually hoping one day I can get a job in the bike industry dont drink dont smoke dont do anything but motorbikes haha Thanks again, Tom

certainly am matey just saving up so I can get some seasons in most likley on a tz or a lc works out way cheaper on tyres than the 600 did a set in in one day once I started throwing down some fast laps haha can do the 250 at the manx then an get noticed an step up to a 600 or 650 twin

Nice work mate, thread , like many others, has been an enjoyable read.
Are you intending to "seal" the crankcases or leave them bare??!
Does anyone know what, if any, the original finish was, mine are just about to be blasted.

Thanks mate really apreciate the comments genuine headlight is going on this week an the pattern jobby is going on the 350 LC along with the r6 calipers an 350 master cylinder an a nos 250 cylinder is goin on this i think with orig 1 disk setup then its hunt for a lc race bike I think time to dive in the deep end

Hey mate awesome to hear of ya how are tings in Cornwall Gonna be a slight hold on the 250 now gonna hang on to my dosh while I sort a lc race bike out season starts in march so on the. Hunt Soon as the 500mm is sold hopefully sooon ble to finish the 250 easy haha getting we'll sick of daft offers on it all lol

Just bought RD 250 LC on a 81 plate in boxes - frame is in now for dip blast and powder coat. will need a load of new stuff.
Everything you are doing to your LC looks perfect. I am new to bike rebuilds and was wondering where you sourced the head bearing set and how difficult was it to fit the lower bearing? also where did you purchase the stainless bolt set from.
