After contemplating selling the lot , I have decided to swap my restored german bike into a UK matching numbers bike ! I have sourced loads of NOS parts which I hadn't done on the first build so hopefully she should look pretty good once done. Looking at the parts I now have I should have plenty of spares to sell on to help fund this to the end ;D Here's a few shots of the swap over in the last week or so, I stripped the old engine yesterday and transfered the rebuilt crank and gearbox into the freshly vapour blasted UK cases. I need to send the last few parts away for olive passivating, so recommendations wanted please.

super build but how the fook is it being held up got david blaine in the garage ;D ;D LOL, never noticed the pics not showing the invisible stand. Its suspended from an iron girder bolted to the garage beams . used a couple of hd ratchet straps so I can lower the bike when needed. Note to self, the coolant tank is now clean

With only 3 days before I have to get back to work I managed a bit more today and also sorted what's left into seperate jobs and placed all the new fittings accordingly. Some of the bags ready to fit before I finally sorted it all out tonight for when I get to finish it.... R rear guards and plastics fitted... Rechromed grab rail.... And the sun decided to pop out earlier so I thought I'd get the paint out too See what I can find to do for Saturday !

cheers Arrow, I don't mind putting the decals on tbh, as long as you take your time and I spray a film on fine water on panels 1st, pushing out the bubbles as I go, I put this lot on 4 years ago !!!.................
