opinions required please , was going to do it back to factory if i could but i did my mbx 125f back to standard (with exception to exhaust couldnt get a standard)
so was tempted to mint it standard decals ect but little tweaks like stainless hoses, bolts ect ,it came with renthals and tempted to keep them and little indicators ect, whats your opinions please.

i know its worth more but i have been down the stock route before and there are a lot of people do this so the purists can be very picky and have a few people doing the same thing to go at , if you know what i mean ,thinking mint standard paint engine ect ,just a few trick bits to bling it up ,also liking the rd 350lc headlight look rather than nose cone got a good engine today for a bargain £60 with a good chrome grab rail , fuel tap and front mudguard thrown in

What in GODS NAME happened to that crank!? Holy crap, haha. Anyway, gonna be interesting following the build. I think you should keep the bike somewhat stock, just add a bit of bling bits to it.

The problem with 125's is that they don't have a nut holding the front sprocket, so you can't use an offset sprocket and therefore you are very limited in what wheels you can use. I've noticed that TZR125 and DT125R has an output shaft with threads for the sprocket though, but I have no idea if any of those shafts will fit an RD 125.

yes mate ,the egine casings were painted silver so thought i would clean it up and repaint but when i cleaned it with petrol and degreasing wipes the paint came off so thought i would leave this bare alloy as its very clean , just painted side casings with heat resistant paint and head and barrel with the same, replaced all gaskets and seals and every external nut and bolt is stainless steel.
