Hi,
CP (compression pressure) = 17-20 x CR (compression ratio) So for your 250 LC with a compression ratio of 6.2:1 = 17 x 6.2= 105.4psi 20 x 6.2= 124psi.
So by using this approximation your compression figure should be somewhere between 105.4psi-124psi (7.17bar-8.4bar)
This is only a theoretical figure. Ideally you should take the readings with the engine at operating temperature. Perhaps someone else has taken compression readings on a known good engine and can let us know what the reading is in practice, as opposed to this theoretical guestimation. Ideally you are looking for both cylinders to be the same pressure, with no more than approx a 10% difference. HTH Steven.
