Need help again!! I've got a set of standard exhausts and the baffles are stuck solid I've tried burning the cr*p off around the end, made a hooked piece of metal so I could use a hammer but wouldn't move Any ideas before I do somethin' stupid like I did with my brakes (see other post)

all good stuff i had a simuler problen this year . I went out every day and put thinners around the end every time i pased the shed for a few days i then squerted wd 40 aroung and down them for a couple of days banging the sides with a wooden malet to help looesen them i heated them up and they still woulnt come out ofter a week. F it I got a 2ft bar and welded it to the end of the baffel and turned it as a lever that did the job it was out in a minues . cut it off linished down the welds and it was done . It did make a bit of a mess of the end though . but what the hell i wes begining to tghing it welded in anyway.

The baffles are in thinners I'm going to leave them a couple of days then give them a pull, the wire idea sound good as a only have a gas welding kit. I will let you all know if the daffles don't come out!!

Is this for the 250LC? Cause YPVS f2 ones don't come out. he's right u know there is a bolt underneath but the ends of the cans are rolled over so baffles cant come out

doud sorry about the fall i had thet happen to a ZXR400 one time in the summer the tarmack was to soft and it fell over .
I think the only thing you have left to do is weld a big rod on the end 3ft and put the pipe in a vice if you cant get it to move with a 3ft rod for leverige then it is'nt coming out .
